These may be used by schools to engage with parents free of charge. The first video looks at the risks of Livestreaming and how parents and carers can protect their children. Thinkuknow 8 - 10 yrs online safety The SSCT is a partnership between Dorset Police, The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Dorset Combined Youth Justice Service with a remit to prevent/reduce anti-social behaviour, crime and wrong-doing amongst children and young people and help keep them safe in a digital world. The team consists of dedicated Schools Officers, all of whom undertake Safeguarding training and undergo enhanced vetting on a regular basis.

Supporting children's transition to secondary school Supporting children's transition to secondary school is an evidence-based guidance for parents and carers, written with input from clinicians at the Centre and teachers. This short guide provides tips about how children preparing for, or going through, the transition to secondary school can best be supported by their parents and carers. It includes guidance which explains why the transition can be difficult for some children, and practical advice such as talking and connecting with the new school, as well as suggested resources that children and parents and carers may find useful.

C-CAMHS CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. We have teams in Dorset called community teams (also known as Core-CAMHS) and an inpatient team at Pebble Lodge in Bournemouth. We assess and treat children and young people up the age of 18 who are suffering significant mental difficulties. CAMHS also support families and carers who need advice or help.
