Friends

The Friends of Archbishop Wake School is a registered charity set up to raise money to enrich the lives of the children that attend the school.

The Friends group is made up of school staff and parents and they are looking for more members to help them with their fundraising efforts.

You can give as much or as little time as you like but even one hour on a stall once a year is very greatly appreciated.

Welcome (and welcome back!) to all parents,

The Friends of ABW are our school's PTA, raising funds to improve the school facilities.

We've previously supported the building of the timber trail and the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). We're looking to further support the outdoor play and learning (OPAL) kit in use during breaks and expand the adventurous play equipment.

To do this - we need your help!

We currently run a range of events including fetes, discos, cake sales and bingo evenings. However, we can only run these with the support of volunteers. We're also looking for ideas to improve and expand.

Whether you have ideas, local contacts or can spare time to support preparing for or running an event, your support would be very welcome. No contribution is too small!

If you can, please join us for our AGM at 7.30pm, Thursday 20th September in the school staffroom.
