A big well done to the staff at Archbishop Wake for getting into the spirit of World Book Day! Your enthusiasm and creativity helped make the day even more magical for the children.
We started our World Book Day with an assembly together joined by our visiting author of the day, Keith Hatton. Doesn't everyone look fantastic in their outfits?
Year 2 enjoyed their webinar with the National Army Museum. We learnt about the achievements of Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale and explored a range of artefacts from the Victorian Period, that might have been used by these two inspirational women.
We had a fantastic talent show this week! Our children amazed us with their confidence and creativity. Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to our whole school for supporting them!
